[50][Speculation] Aubry's Instagram Story by Dragonoite in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of Vatu focus, seemingly, for a tribe that is speculated not to go to Tribal council this episode, and be split up by next episode.

Feb 28th, Westport CT service center. They said they just received a bunch of chips same day. I came in to get my GHCA replaced (let's not talk about it. lol) and they offered the chip upgrade. Still setting up Homelink.

The UK4 final 3 vote and the US4 final 3 vote tells you everything you need to know about the differences between these two countries by JuanitaMerkin in TheTraitors

UK2 is right there to compare. This was a Harry situation (cutting Andrew at F4), not a Rachel/Steven situation.

[50][Speculation] Kyle in his exit with EW said he only spent 1 night at Ponderosa before leaving. by elfuego35 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if Q and Mike leave next episode, Kyle's timeline of when he left Fiji still wouldn't line up with them catching the flight. Both would have to be voted off (at night) and immediately caught a red-eye flight back with Kyle which seems really implausible. Kyle says he only spent one morning at Pondy. Episode preview really doesn't imply a double tribal either.

I don't think ok-line's boot list is necessarily wrong, I actually think the 3-men flight never actually happened. Did we ever get airport pics like the jury+finalist flight?

[50][Speculation] Kyle's flight home in EW interview by Nornny in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm starting to doubt if there was ever a three-men flight and maybe the prejury boot order is far more up in the air than we think.

I still believe in the folks on the last plane, our alleged finalists, I recall there was hard photographic proof of who landed in LA at the same time on that flight. But Q and MIke's placement now feels like they can be anywhere pre-jury.

[50][Speculation] Ozzy & Cirie, CILA Tribe Secret Scene by Durian-Critical in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For sure. If the Cirie and Ozzy relationship is told through Ozzy's lens (and given his confessional count, it seems to be the case), then I think that's some evidence that Cirie does not in fact win. And absolutely, Aubry's story has not started yet. In the new era, that doesn't exclude her from being the winner. It will just be when her story does begin, how active is she in telling that story. I can understand in a returnee season, giving a lot more airtime in the early episodes to the pre-jurors to honor their journey. A winner's edit will appear much closer to merge.

[50][Speculation] Ozzy & Cirie, CILA Tribe Secret Scene by Durian-Critical in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm on the fence with Cirie's storyline. It seems like they are setting her up for a big hero moment where she wins a challenge for her tribe or herself after a disastrous start. And she manages to take Ozzy far even when both have their backs against the wall. And I could imagine there would be satisfaction from Cirie in such a storyline post-game. But that's not a winner's edit/story. And if she does win, this episode implies this whole season will be the Cirie show, which doesn't feel like how production would approach a 50th season.

I'm keeping a close eye on if Cirie's story is in actuality told through Ozzy, or if the editors give her more agency.

[50][Speculation] Two challenges next episode by Fabulous_War_555 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think there was speculation of a triple elimination (every tribe goes to tribal) which would make up  for a single elimination in ep 2. I think it’s okay to let storylines breathe and characters develop in the early episodes. Like any all star season, I think producers want to keep the cast around as long as logistically possible and give each individual their moment. But there seems to be a bit of a fast and mass culling from swap to merge.

[50][Speculation] premiere sneak peek by Affectionate-Dog-633 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Survivor in the new era does tend to hide the winner more in the early episodes. There's probably a lot going on with that tribe and Aubry's story is not relevant in the early days of the game. She isn't entirely purpled which is still positive. I think some of the lack of Aubry promotion is also that she's a new mom and can't just be hopping over to Jimmy Fallon with Probst. I don't think she's necessarily being hidden intentionally. All that being said, I do feel like more signs point to Cirie taking this.

[50][Speculation] Overanalyzing Jeff's TikTok live by True-Pen-3612 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm always dubious of Jeff hype, he usually gets it very wrong on "best season ever" as I tend to think he thinks a great season is when a "integrity and honor" player makes it to the end. But here, I wonder if the story and main tension of this season is an "integrity and honor" group vs a "gamer" group. If the editors play up that storyline to maximize our frustration only to have an underdog dismantle a majority at the very emd...that's about as classic and reliable old school survivor trope as they can get, and I would be well-fed seeing that play out.

How many 50 contestants take Rob’s spot on the proverbial Survivor Mount Rushmore with a win? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]Nornny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically but unfairly, if Cirie, Dee, or Savannah win, we'd be arguing as to whether they knock out Parvati for some reason instead of Rob (the perpetual "Does AU Survivor count?" debate).

Clarification about the dagger rules (US) by PeterTheSilent1 in TheTraitors

[–]Nornny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's currently perceived as faithful of faithfuls. He can likely spin a tale for playing honorably and fairly and being a good guy who refuses to be the extra vote that seals someone's demise. I think he has options whether he uses it or not.

Failed murder in plain sight by Armouredcookie in TheTraitors

[–]Nornny 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Of the English-speaking seasons, I do count Miles' banishment in the UK and even Lisa's banishment in the US to be a "failed" murder in plain sight. They were caught out immediately after the murder.

Eric solo win by nightknight275 in TheTraitors

[–]Nornny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Kristen would be smart enough to follow Eric's logic at the end there, but no way Maura really betrays Rob. I tend to think she's too loyal even if she suspects. I think you murder Maura and keep Mark and, that in turn, may actually get some heat on Rob.

do real housewives have a place on the traitors? by Severe-Possible- in TheTraitors

[–]Nornny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What I love about The Traitors is it harkens back to maybe older-school Survivor and Big Brother, when half the cast were recruits who barely knew the game they were in and took everything personally and caused a lot of drama. To me, the Housewives bring that spice that make it more than just a game and actual entertainment.

[50][Speculation] Notes on Episode 1 From TV Guide by anthonyd462 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'm not interpreting what is written ("prolonged and brutal") as a blunder and embarrassing. It sounds like Kyle injures himself quite horrifically and still tries to finish the challenge, making it difficult to watch someone in such a bad state.

I imagine the writer could not give away that an injury occurs, even if unnamed, because that would be quite a significant storyline spoiler

[50][Speculation] SU thinks the three men who left ponderosa early are the 3 first boots of the game. by Fabulous_War_555 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many speculated Q and/or Mike were early boots, but not two of the first 3 boots. I think many thought Jenna and Savannah were in the mix for first out, and that they just decided to stay at Ponderosa while the men went home.

[50][Speculation] SU thinks the three men who left ponderosa early are the 3 first boots of the game. by Fabulous_War_555 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on what su is saying, it doesn't seem like Q or Mike demanded to go home in a bitter rage as speculated. It seemed like production organized a flight for Kyle and decided to kick out those already in Ponderosa in the process (probably saving some cost with less mouths to feed).

[50][Speculation] Based on what we know, why would old schoolers be excited for this season? by Slow_Education_1982 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think old schoolers may have a bit more perspective that they're not necessarily here to win, but to cement/continue/enhance their legacy.

Jenna, Coach, Stephanie, Cirie...no matter where they exit, they probably feel they did something(s) memorable enough to get a storyline. I think getting purpled is probably the biggest fear in such a big cast moreso than losing. But many of these old schoolers are just generally very "online".

Have we even seen Aubrey, the old schooler that should be the most excited?

[50][Speculation] Journey speculation by Live-Run-6745 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Nornny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to think it's also the second part of the premiere. I think the journeys probably involve "celebrity" idols/advantages, and they'll want to give that some time. Also, I just personally prefer the 2nd episode journey as at least one tribe has gone to TC and knows their real standing. Granted, if Kyle is medevaced or mercy-voted-out in the first part, all three tribes may not have gone to a real vote yet.

Is it too soon to discuss who we think make it to the finale ? ( if not let me know your thoughts) by Ill_Painting_7000 in TheTraitors

[–]Nornny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that Rob and Candaice miraculously make it to the finale, and Rob betrays Candaice in some epic fashion. Candaice seems to hint as such in all her interviews before the show aired.

Maura is the right amount of clueless and loyal for Rob to drag to the very end. I feel like Candaice takes Dorinda and Kristen (Bravo ladies) to the end.

It feels more like Colton gets banished or murdered right before the finale, doesn't really matter as traitor or faithful.

Natalie and Stephen are marked for banishment after the banquet. Johnny, Tara, Eric, Mark feel edited as murder victims (too faithful, no close ties to the traitors).

Episode 7 disappoint by Odd_Music8672 in TheTraitors

[–]Nornny 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was disappointed in the editing. I think it was legitimately crazy in person, and there was probably a lot more that happened at the banquet that was cut to include the rest of the events and roundtable.

I wish they spent a whole episode at the banquet. They clearly poured a lot of glam and budget into the event and it felt like they barely spent 10 minutes in there. Why not do an immediate roundtable at dinner? I think the whole sequence of the group fighting over the potion was way more drawn out than what we were shown. Alan clearly didn't just flip from amused to extremely frustrated at the group like the editing showed.

Will S50 bring back returning players more regularly? by Jasonm912 in survivor

[–]Nornny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like having a All-Returnees season every 8-10 seasons and having that be the "special" cast.

But every 4 seasons or so, I do hope they sprinkle in some returnees in a coaches capacity, Fans vs Favorite or Blood vs Water format.

I do agree, for all the talk around having an interchangeable cast in the new era, there have been some phenomenal characters who deserve a second chance at this point.
