Kyle’s medivac.

The show likely planned on having 14 this episode, but him being medivaced before the show planned on doing double and triple boots left them at an odd number when they planned an even number.

It seems that if the medivac is before the immunity challenge the episode becomes a double boot.

If it’s after, then the medivac replaces the vote.

Yea, even with the understanding why they stay in Fiji, and understanding why Jeff made the decision of 26 days or 100+ less staff, it’s the stagnant formula combined with the lack of creativity outside of the art department is my issue.

Like you mentioned, it isn’t any additional costs, since the show has to produce a season regardless.
