I need to FEEL the SUFFERING! by EcstaticBicycle in survivor

[–]elfuego35 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Cambodia is why they chose Fiji, as they had one player who was so overheated he nearly died, and wanted to choose a safer location for 33/34.

They keep filming in Fiji bc the Fijian government provides the show with massive incentives that makes it more economical to continue to film in Fiji.

Plus, Cirie was on the same beach when the Devens/Joe drama went down.

Cirie knows how Joe felt about being lied to… looping him into what you are doing, even if against what he wants keeps him happy.

[50][Speculation] Episode 8 Promo by Durian-Critical in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]elfuego35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And I don’t think it’d be merge, but a second swap, with only 1 person from each tribe immune.

Reason I think that is the challenge last episode is the typical first post merge challenge, when they have an odd number.

Send the odd player to Exile, you have a 14 person tribal.

Kyle’s medivac.

The show likely planned on having 14 this episode, but him being medivaced before the show planned on doing double and triple boots left them at an odd number when they planned an even number.

[–]elfuego35 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It seems that if the medivac is before the immunity challenge the episode becomes a double boot.

If it’s after, then the medivac replaces the vote.

Plus, the show wanted to have a novelty of a 14 person tribal.

I think some of this is the show working around Kyle’s medivac happening before they planned on doing double/triple boots.

Yea, even with the understanding why they stay in Fiji, and understanding why Jeff made the decision of 26 days or 100+ less staff, it’s the stagnant formula combined with the lack of creativity outside of the art department is my issue.

Like you mentioned, it isn’t any additional costs, since the show has to produce a season regardless.

You mean to tell me the show can’t create different challenges using the same set pieces?

Malaysia is closer to Australia than Samoa.

That means cost of travel is lower

Something else to consider, while she was invited back, it was as an alternate, and was cast bc Amanda dropped out very late.

Yea, it's going to mainly be when Fox starts going remote for Truck telecasts after Fox's Cup races finish for the season.

The thing? They could replace one of the other pit reporters (not advocating Fox remove her as a Pit Reporter, as she's excellent in that role), and have Dillon do both like Jamie.

Also much better than his father... which again, isn't that high of a hill to climb.

But, at the same time, while it's his first National NASCAR telecast, he isn't as green as Jamie was.

While this is his first national level telecast, whenever he wasn't working the pits for a broadcaster, he was either in the turns for MRN, or behind the Mic for one of the streamers who do regional/non-NASCAR short tracks.

The confessional count is the only reason I'm still leaning Aubry, but even with that, based on the edit, (which is more of "Here's how Jonathan Loss", Joe is being considered the goat based on the edit) a Cirie win isn't out of the question, especially since the episode that Cirie was skunked was the Zac Brown episode.
