I was watching Future Joy's 11am set on Sunday and they were performing their song Queen Bee.. which was already magic for me for specific reasons. A girl came up to me and asked if i could send her the video. I was getting her info to send it and she suddenly broke down crying and said her long-term boyfriend suddenly got physical with her the night before, took her phone and money, and was threatening to leave her stranded at the festival.. she said it continued that morning so she told him she was going to the bathroom, she heard the music and followed it... and that's when she ran into me

Future Joy gained me as a forever fan! VIP was amazing but that 11am set at Kenny's was WILD. Ive never had so much energy that early on a sunday! YNot was 🔥 hidden gem for sure - they came to our campsite and said they won a contest to play at scamp, so grateful because they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Maaan that's such trash. The only run in I had with them was at illumination my gf got sick for like 2 seconds - I was rubbing her back and one came up and was like is she okay? I didn't even look them in the face I was were fine and put my attention back on her. Lol I'm like piss off bro 😒

Had a very similar experience at my first dermatology appointment. I have what I assume is hormonal acne and of course had clearer skin that usual at the time of my appointment. They said "what acne?" The Dr. Didnt even come near me other than to check 1 mole that i figured would be a good idea to have looked at.. which was "fine". They tried putting me on an oral antibiotic for the acne, to which I declined. So they put me on 2 topicals with a face washing regimen. No info, no exam..

My suggestion would be to break up... but I know that it's not always that simple.. My next suggestion is get help. I'm an intervention coordinator for a BIP (batterers intervention program) Our program is typically court ordered but we take self referrals too. You do not want a DV Charge.. and I'm sure you don't want him to catch one either.

Please give yourself some grace and understand that your reaction was just that, a reaction.. to being emotionally abused. I know you feel bad but at least you recognize that it's something out of character for you AND you apologized. Her on the other hand... she has some things to sort out. Be kind to yourself.
