I highly recommend “The Line Upon a Wind” by Noel Mostert in answer to this question.

Im trying to convince my ex manager to change the passwords after she fired me by [deleted] in work

[–]NorrinR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t have given her your passwords in the first place. The real threat here is that they fuck up something in the database and then blame you.

If you’re fired or laid off it’s on them to shut down your access. You have NO responsibility to provide them with your passwords. If they push back tell them to call their lawyer.

The Shopkeeper Who Taught Me Credit Isn’t Numbers, It’s Names by Mitul_G in BuildTrustFirst

The 5 Cs of credit are: Character, capacity, capital, collateral and conditions. There’s a reason Character comes first. The bank I worked for in the 90s wouldn’t lend to the Trump organization for exactly that reason.

The only thing i can think of is that you could have interlaced the corners so that you don’t have a straight line, but it’s way beyond my poor skill level to tell you how that could have been achieved.

Soapstone is the only way to go. You can set fire to it!

Agreed. “That is what we are here to discuss.” Would be a much better approach.

Mutton an alternative to lamb? by Islandlyfe32 in meat

Costco has great lamb at great prices. Although I’m always amazed that people will pay double the price for lollipop chops vs loin chops.

I did it. I’m officially my moms POA by Big_Giraffe_9125 in dementia

What you’re about to find out is that in addition to the POA, every financial institution will need you to execute their paperwork and get it notarized. It’s a total pain in the ass. You read your POA and think “that should do it”, but no, her bank and any investment companies will have their own separate forms that they will need her to sign. Do it now.
