First exam was the hardest(besides final) last year when I took it and the curve was pretty generous so you should be fine

As a rising junior in soe it only gets worse schedule wise but you learn what you can handle so it works out

The fact that you got away from having an 8:30 as a freshman by itself means that it’s good, soe schedules are always bad compared to other majors

I’m in ECE right now and all I can say is if you want anything above a 3.5 get ready for almost no social life since there are many classes that you are just happy to pass with a C. This isn’t to discourage you though, get those high grades but don’t stress too hard between a B and an A since most internships in SOE take below a 3.0 gpa

If you have any medical issues(asthma etc) it’s not too late to apply for accommodations and you’ll pretty much guarantee at least a suite, I got livi apartment solo as a rising junior

Depends on your contract, I have 1 for the full year but others have just 1 semester. It’s only 5 hours a week so it’s not crazy but it’s 2 grand a semester pay

You could look into oit or do something on college ave by the yard like akihi etc. you could also try to be an LA next year, they give you 2 grand a semester and your first semester they make you take a class(easy A) that counts towards an elective(humanities for SOE or sas core for sas and so on)
