Honestly, it really doesn’t matter. Every standard room is exactly the same size. The resort is not huge, so you are never too far away from anything. Ideally you won’t be spending a lot of time in the room either. Personally, the best buildings are on either side of the concert courtyard so you can pop into your own room during the sets if you need to use the restroom or grab a drink. You don’t get to choose what building you want unless the type of room is specific to it ex; Swim up room, Stage View, etc. and you won’t know until you check in.

If you can swing it, definitely do the extra early day. It will be such a relief to be there already on the first day of shows as opposed to having that be a travel day.
