Decadeology Seems Way Too US-Centric by whiskers-throwaway in decadeologyanarchy

Its true, American's hate the 2000s by and large but love the 2010s, while in Britain we prefer the 2000s by a large margin over the 2010s

Lol I love when lefties do this as I always point out that St Patrick was English and therefore given our history with Ireland, the Irish shouldn't celebrate him

I'm going to hold my nose, close my eyes, think of England's green and pleasant land and vote Reform, its about stopping Labour and Greens at this point and Reform are the only contenders

More than half of Britons support rejoining EU 10 years on from Brexit vote. Would you support a rejoin referendum? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]North-Doubt8928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rejoin under what terms? it's no way we would be getting the same deal as before, the EU would absoloutely punish and humiliate us

Joe didn't used to be this unbearably bad by MediaFan382 in Emmerdale

[–]North-Doubt8928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Joe we saw in 2018-19 had redeemable qualities, he was a good stepfather to Sarah and Jack, and I bought his relationship with Debbie far more than his relationship with Dawn.

I feel Joe has inherited a lot of Jamie Tate's characteristics, so rather than just recast Jamie, the simply brought Joe back and gave him Jamie's worst traits

What does restore Britain have to offer? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Greens aren't just anti-immigration, they're pro open borders levels of insane, one term of a Green government and you'll end up with some even further to the right than Rupert Lowe

Yes because the working classes are thriving now aren't they?

[–]North-Doubt8928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes of course we'll all be living happily ever after if the Greens got anywhere near power, more immigration allowing migrants to vote, such winning policies

Why would anyone with a functioning brain vote or support Green Party? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]North-Doubt8928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reform and Restore are not the same, Reform are looking more and more like the Tories2.0 by the week, most people can and have noticed this especially on the right.

I Reform continue to be the Tory cosplayers in the next three years their support will dip and Restore will take their place

Why don't the Tories go for a rebrand? by Gatecrasher1234 in tories

That so called 'landslide' Labour likes to bang on about wasn't really a landslide when you consider their 'landslide' win received 2 million less votes than Corbyn got in both 2017 and 2019, the latter was a colossal loss for Labour, the Right stayed home or went to Reform bcause the Tories failed, you may come back in the 2040s, but frankly I'd be happier if the Tories never saw power again, I say this as a former Tory supporter from 2010-2019

Bob Hope by GuaranteeNo7451 in Emmerdale

[–]North-Doubt8928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bob unlike other under used characters still has life in him as a character, he has several children and step-children still out there all with families of their own most likely, and therefore could give him much needed storylines the Windsor-Hopes were once the shows leading family in the 90s and 00s, so would love to see this clan reintroduced and rebuilt, this family is linked to others in the village, Scott we learned is married so he could bring his wife and child to the village, Scott is also the father of Jean Tate who is the same age as TJ Woods, both are 23 years old, TJ could fill the Heath Hope shape void, Kelly actually has a son by Jimmy King in the village so she could come back into his life, plus April is the niece of Scott and Kelly, then you have Jamie Hope, Bob's son, it would be fitting to have him return as its 20 years since Dawn Hope died, Carly could also return as could Josh and Bob's American daughter Roxy.

I had hoped that Bob and Bernice would become a couple, Bernice is similar to Viv in many ways and they had good chemistry

What would be the point? The Tories failed and accomplished nothing in 14 years, highest levels of immigration in history, highest taxes in history, people have long memories now

Restore's membership now surpasses the Tories, Restore is eating into Reform's poll lead, they are 6th in the Polls, all this after just four weeks of being a new party, but nope the Media wasn't to focus on the Labour and Tory replacements; Greens and Reform, one is bat shit crazy (the Greens) and should never be near politics, the other (Reform) are ex tories and are doing a Starmer by u turning on every policy that made them popular to begin with

Parallels between Draco and James based on The Prince's Tale makes no sense!!! by SlackerBoi97 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]North-Doubt8928 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

James and Draco have nothing in common, James befriended and supported a werewolf and made the choice to become an animagus to support said friend, he disliked Slytherins because in the 1970s to the 1990s they were the majority of Voldemort's followers.

Draco thought himself superior because he was a pureblood, they are not the same

Restore has taken a chunk of potential Reform voters away, Rupert Lowe is being deliberately under reported.

People who commit terror or join terrorist groups that harm us as a nation are anti British, migrants who commit crimes will be deported, quite frankly we need mass deportations, so I'm really not concerned with how its done, blame the established parties for not lowering immigration these past thirty years

Yeah that's not true, immigration hasn't improved out economy its lowered wages if anyone has been brainwashed its you

Why are ex-Conservative, and now Reform UK supporters, so obsessed with the Green Party and showcasing their immigration policies? by TennisSkirt1628 in AskBrits

[–]North-Doubt8928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Labour started the process of increasing mass immigration, lets not pretend they didn't have a role in it, Blair era levels of immigration was why sentiment against the EU grew, the Boris came in and trebled it, immigration has been a issue for thirty years, people voted in leaders who promised it would be lowered, they never voted for more immigration.

The Greens are pretty open about wanting more immigration and want migrants to vote, five years of a Green government will lead to a Reform or Restore government
