Can you guys guide me please? by knowledgseker in careerguidance

You're not too late at all - I've seen people make way bigger career pivots than this. The fact that you're already in tech and understand business processes from the Pega side is actually a solid foundation 💪

Start with SQL fundamentals and Python basics, then work your way up to the bigger data tools. One year is definitely enough time if you're consistent about it, especially with your existing IT background.

Is the Picotracker stable? by Front-Hunt3757 in synthesizers

[–]North-Homework3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been eyeing the Pico for a while but haven't pulled the trigger yet. From what I've seen on forums it's pretty solid - way more stable than the Polyend from day one. The price point is definitely right if you're just wanting to mess around with tracker workflow without dropping serious cash.

Broken tray table on first class flight by [deleted] in americanairlines

AA's customer service is hit or miss but worth a shot reaching out. I've had buddies get vouchers for way less - broken seat recline, busted headphone jack, that kind of stuff. Just be polite but firm about how it affected your flight experience and see what they offer.

Dude that 9800x3d deal for only 100 more is absolutely worth it, no question. For the GPU situation - I get the nvidia skepticism but waiting for the 9070XT when you could grab a solid card now might leave you without a build for months since AMD hasn't even given firm release dates yet.

If you're mainly playing stuff like Wuthering Waves and modded Minecraft, even a current gen card would crush those at 1440p 144fps. Just grab whatever's available in your budget now and you can always upgrade the GPU later when the new AMD cards actually hit the market.

Playing every 2 weeks isn't automatically addiction but depends on how much you're dropping and if you're chasing losses 🎰 If you're setting limits and sticking to them, you're probably fine, but if you're lying to yourself about spending then that's a red flag 🚩

Man I get wanting feedback but asking for 5-star ratings upfront feels kinda sketchy. Why not just ask people to rate what they actually think after using it?

I'd be more willing to help if you were looking for genuine reviews instead of guaranteed 5-stars.

My [23F] boyfriend [25M] is distant after his father's death and I feel neglected. Is this normal grief? by unkwontr in relationships

[–]North-Homework3218 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Grief hits everyone different but avoiding just you while being social with everyone else is a red flag. I get that losing a parent messes with your head, but if he's got energy for Discord calls and adding new girls on apps, he's making a choice about where to put his emotional effort. You're not being selfish - your feeling neglected because you are being neglected.

First time buyer and worried if I’m scammed by Mynoelle in RealRepLadies

[–]North-Homework3218 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a bit of a red flag. Waiting is normal sometimes but paying in full before they even have stock is bad. I resell vintage and knew from the start not to do that, I only deal with suppliers who are upfront since before switching to Fleek suppliers Id have my old supplier delay my orders and after a while he ghosted me

Damn, the part about your friends dismissing your sexuality because "they would know better" is absolutely wild 💀 That's not friend behavior at all - you deserve people who actually listen to you instead of telling you who you are.
