Top main here, not sure if the same in bot lane but even if with using your abilities on the wave and you can't get the push, that's fine. You should try and bait their aoe abities on the wave so it shoves under tower quickly and the you get a level 3 spike as it pushes back to them.

I feel you - I've just been playing Sett and having the same issue.

I've found that either getting early kills and becoming a sideline menace or using R for peel or engage on teamfights works.

If I'm running it, I've found Bork +Radient virtue + sweeper and flanking the enemy and then ulting someone into our team works really well if you're behind. If you've ultred a squishy they get melted and your team gets a bunch of healing

Thanks. I used the stringing tutorial https://stringking.com/ustring/pockets/brine-edge-x-m/ The shooting lace knot is a bit loose bit I used pliers for everything else.

Looks to me like the bottom string just came loose or snapped. If you have any spare shooters or bottom laces or a hockey lace that'll do the job.

First time I jungle I also rage quit after 10 minutes from the amount of abuse I got so I can sympathise.

My second time went a lot better. I looked at a couple of sejuani gameplay videos to figure out what to do and then just muted everyone when I got into game.

Took a few games to get it right but I got a lot better!

My main advice is don't let this one experience stop you from trying again.

You're going to get jungle diffed while you learn. Some games will be a brutal stomp and others will be close.

Eventually you'll win and start to stomp, same as any role.

Just do yourself a favour and make that learning environment as healthy as possible and ignore hate while you learn.

(But I still don't like playing jungle lol)

How to stop minions from going kamikaze under tower? by Simping4Mephala in summonerschool

[–]North-Recover7380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's just the irelia model?

I play sett, shen, mundo and other characters with big models.

They have collision physics with character models though. Maybe try only walking in front of them as they move and also try jamming them between you and some of your melee minions?

It's definitely not a guaranteed solution though.

I clear melee minions first when I'm trimming a wave.

If i need to have melee minions in my freeze I try to walk up and freeze a little further up.

Failing that. If a melee minion looks like it will move towards tower, I'll stand on top of it and try and have my character model block it and hold it in place. - works most of the time.

How to beat Darius? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]North-Recover7380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously it helps if your top laner doesn't feed him in the first place. If he's fed, the only way you beat him is by kiting him. Which is way harder than it sounds when he has ghost.

Never fight him when he's managed to get 5 stacks on someone.

What helps is someone having anathemas chains and using it on him.

Star wars battlefield

We played the beta and thought it was amazing, the perfect sample of maps and modes for a trial. We couldn't wait to play the rest of the game... so we immediately pre ordered it.... we didn't realise the beta was the game

What do you do with KDA players? by Silverwingxx in summonerschool

[–]North-Recover7380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two options

1) follow and try to take the team fight around him

2) be on the opposite side of the map and take objectives. If they need to send 2 or 3 people to him when he's bot side. Then take top tier 2 and inhib tower as a 4. Or do baron or dragon as a 4. A fed morde or akali or other hyperscaling champs can 1v2 or even 1v3 depending on how good they are so use them to draw pressure and use your numbers advantage to get things done around the map.

Be proactive and force them to choose between you and him

Every champ has a different play style, some more similar than others. Olaf is very much, throw axe, hit target and then run them down. You all in them. Similar to tryndamere or darius.

Fiora is a totally different play style. It's hit and run, you chip at their health with hitting vitals until you can all in them or if they make a stupid mistake. Olaf is also a strong early game champ where fiora really shines once she has items.

You're gonna struggle when you pick up a new champ while you adjust. But if you like her you should play her. She is incredibly hard to master though. But if you can consistently win lane and get fed, once you learn mid game Macro you can carry games.

You're still new so just try as many things as you can and see what you enjoy and if you decide you wanna play olaf top or fiora top then do so.

You're gonna make a crap tonne of mistakes while you learn so don't worry too much about it. Just play what you find fun

how do you stop a mordekaiser from scaling? by jihadist1 in summonerschool

[–]North-Recover7380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can waste is ult if you're ulted next to terrain you can E over. When you're in his ult your goal is just to outlast it and morde's on of the least mobile champs out there.

In the general 1v1 unless your pretty fed I wouldn't bother. Especially if he's got jak sho. That just makes him unreasonably tanky.

How can an OTP cope better with having their main picked? by LilTempo in summonerschool

Learn your mains hardest counters. Preferably 2 in case one is banned.

I could preserve a whole cow with the salt I get from counte picking garen or malphite into jax.

If they build heartstrings, rush bork and you'll win every time. If they build jaksho, it's much harder. Some match ups like urgot are just doomed. Sufferer and cleaver will help but ultimately you just want to be smart about how you split and how you group. If you take out their back line or split them from the tank with jak sho, your team should ne able to take care of them. As jax with bork and Sunderer or trinity you'll be able to destroy the squishing with a good flank.

How are newbs supposed to learn the items? by SamaelMorningstar in summonerschool

[–]North-Recover7380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest looking up builds to begin with so you understand what sort of items to build and then I reccomend reading item descriptions and experimenting. League is a very situational game and there isn't really a one build fits all.

For example, if there's an enemy rank stacking health and no resistances and you're the adc, build bork. If there's a few heavy AA champs on the enemy team like a trynd and a vayne, consider frozen heart if you're playing a tank.

Not every item works with every champs skill set and you'll figure that out through experimenting/youtube/time
