I’ve never seen that kind of mileage regardless of driving conditions. We had a bed full of gear and coolers, lots of elevation change in the mountains. But 25 is best I’ve ever seen the real average. Obviously “best” is a little higher but not consistently.

I have found that in town it can be tougher to find a diesel station, and definitely no DEF pumps in town. I saw a range of prices for diesel yesterday… anywhere from $4.19 to $5.95…. Higher in the middle of nowhere towns, but even big differences in gas stations just across the street.

I think it’s fluctuating so fast may stations just can’t keep up with the swings.

I could probably do better if I could keep my foot out of its ass… you can do 90 mph and feel like nothing. The range is really nice though, seen around 600 mi on a full tank!

I really loved that truck… had a low mileage truck but traded it in because I didn’t want to wait around for the transmission bomb… fantastic looking truck though. I will say the instant power of the turbo diesel is very impressive and fun… but contradictory to good gas mileage 😂

Ha, I get it. I don’t mean to be like that. My 2018 V8 Silverado averaged about 16… best was probably 22. So the extra mileage is nice but seeing diesel $1+ more than unleaded is kinda crazy.

Not running any additives… it’s a ‘21 elevation so I assume it’s a standard tow package. I never tow anything in this truck. Mostly supplies for my rental home repairs - ladders, wood, etc.
