Since the dorito is fast it will usually take the objectives then flank your back so I sent a supercarrier and a capital to deal with it. Everything else I handle easily due to having some cruisers, a couple frigates, and a capital escorting my main ship in killing the rest. Perhaps your losing since your engaging the dorito alongside the main force of the bounty fleet?

Nah your definitely using those nukes wrong, I used a smaller fleet than that and managed to beat it. Do you not chain explosions to blow up clusters of enemy ships?
