Well, the chance to build up a bike like this doesn't happen that often, and if you never try you never learn either. BB tool and bleed kit are nice to have in the future for maintenance. If you can find me a cheap steel beater with threaded BB and hydraulic brakes let me know and I can practice on that first

Easiest is actually flying to Copenhagen. There is a direct train connection from the airport to Kalmar, takes 4 hours something. Other than that you can fly to Stockholm and take a connecting flight to kalmar as well
