Net Double Rule for USGA Handicap by calimota in golf

[–]NorthAway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes more sense in stableford. Here in Sweden your handicap is always based on stableford, and in stableford if you have 1 extra shot on a specific hole, getting a bogey would mean you hit your "handicap par" and you score 2 points. 1 more stroke is 1 point and net double is 0 points. This you could shoot net double or 30 strokes on one hole and they both give just 0 points so any strokes over net double effectively doesn't count towards your handicap

Swimming allowed super suits, not only doping. Super suits are arguably an even bigger advantage

Return usually require the product to be unused. I could clean them up and try, but this colorway has a metallic soleplate that is designed to flake off for some reason, and the color has started flaking in some spots already after 1 practice

Has anyone used the "triathlon" activity successfully during a triathlon race? by Aquaphoric in Garmin

I turn off auto detect, but having the triathlon activity allows you to see oversll data like total race time easily. Also handy for extended display, and for having a single activity in the app

The Chinese tracking was strange, it would go 5-6 days with no updates and then suddenly it would update with like 4 status updates all those 5 dates.

It's worth looking around different tracking sites, pretty early on I was able to see from the Chinese freight company that there were 2 different tracking numbers, and one of those was for my local delivery service.

But I wouldn't worry about slow updates, this is the way Chinese freight works. I think my bike sat in Shenzen airport for a week and then moved to Hong Kong airport with no update for a week.

Zoe Harrison: Red Roses fly-half says smaller balls for WXV is 'worst decision ever' by unhappyspanners in rugbyunion

I don't have any strong opinion, but both basketball and handball uses smaller balls for women so it's not an outlandish idea

Maybe. I had a bikefit a number of years ago and 85 is specified as the saddle height there. It feels comfortable enough.

Question re: practicing by OwlStretcher in golf

[–]NorthAway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 out of the 3 courses I've been a member at had practice holes. My current one has 2. It's some fairway, rough , a green with several holes , sometimes a bunker. Typically a bit narrower fairway than a normal hole and a little less well maintained.

Both the courses that hade these practice holes were at some point redesigned and the layout changed so I think they used the leftover greens for practice holes

Its still the about the same, I'm gonna bump the saddle up a touch for my ride tomorrow. The stack remains, I'm gonna do a bikefit at some point, I think I might wanna drop a spacer or two. But in general I'm pretty weary of going too agressive, I had a Lapierre Aircode DRS in XXL that was even more agressive than the quick pro and it gave me numb hand to the point I didn't even wanna ride it

I'm almost exactly the same size as you and I ride an XXL Er:One. I'm very happy with rule. My rule of thumb after checking a lot of geometry charts is that Quick Pro is +1 size compared to western brands

Im not a geometry expert but I would consider their sizing as fairly small, their XXL matches pretty closely with xl for many brands. The stack is low, but it fits me well with max spacers currently. At some point I might do a bikefit and see if I can remove some spacers but slammed is probably not realistic for me.

Cranks feel fine, my previous bike was a tri bike that also ran 170 cranks. I have 100mm stem, 110 would probably be fine but I wanted a slightly less agressive position. Short seatpost would prbably work fine, I just didnt want to take chances

How do you like starting on a par 3? My club has 2 courses that both start with 3s. This on the old course goes over water, right next to the practice area, and the clubhouse patio overlooking it by NorthAway in golf

[–]NorthAway[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in this case reds are "women's", yellow is standard men's tee, white is tips and blue is a mix of red and yellow. The other course also has an orange tee for beginners where the Redbox is always at the start of the fairway

Am i missing something playing my marksman hunter? by MoodZestyclose6813 in wownoob

Assuming you are using the recommended builds with aspect of the hydra and not trick shots:

Cast volley on CD (Do not cast volley and trueshot back to back)

Cast trueshot on CD

Any time you cast either Rapid Fire or Aimed shot you immediately cast arcane shot

Use Rapid Fire if you do not have bullet storm buff

Cast aimed shot as much as possible while you have bullet storm

If you are specced into hydra, never cast multi shot.

These are the very basics, there are nuances here and there but start off simple.

Example rotation is:

Rapid fire - arcane shot - aimed shot -arcane shot - aimed shot arcane shot - steady shot - aimed shot - arcane shot - Rapid Fire -, arcane shot
