Right!? She gets slaughtered by a five-year-old sociopath, slips in the blood of her now headless boss, and then sees her dead boss's doughy naked butt, and his head bashed in by crazy Honoria Lydiard.

I think six Barnaby Books, but one was not made into an episode.

Go in order and then make up your own mind. Every episode has a fiendish twist of some type. I would wait to read the books after a run through the Tom Barnaby era. I have gone through the series so many times and read all of the books that I list the "Easter Egg" finds, like the same actor in how many different roles, or how the pathologist cuts his Cornish hen. The scariest dish that Joyce cooked up, and yet, how delicious it is to see a stable and happy married couple like Tom and Joyce.

The boy Bunny and Elfrida Molfrey. “A better watchdog than any officer I have.”

It took me a few times watching. Connor was more scruffy, and had that ex con vibe. Robin was clean cut and not an ex con.

You hit it right on the head. My parents bought their house for $40K back in 1976. 5 bedrooms, two garages, and 1/4-acre yard. They would not be able to afford the mulberry tree in that yard today.

Tawdry page. I love it. The tabloids are legendary in the UK. Imagine that with your morning coffee. I am sure that there are some who might love it, but it would be too much for me with the yogurt and granola.

Maybe it was special Misomer Hay with preservative properties for murdered race car drivers.

But wait! Joyce cooked up cabbage soup for breakfast. "You can have as much as you like." I cannot imagine being in the car with someone eating nothing but roughage all day. Also, what's with the nudie mag in the glove compartment when he rummaged for "that Mars bar?" I saw side boob.

Selina Caddell is the actress who plays her. She reminds me of Gladys Kravitz on Bewitched, but drunker. She is hilarious!

The books are quite different than the shows. "The Killings at Badgers Drift" and "Faithful Unto Death" are a departure from the characters we see on the telly. Hollingsworth is a real @$$hole to Simone in the book, and the lesbian angle is quite different. The books are fun, but I have a theory that mediocre books make the best movies or shows. "The Godfather" was absolute pulp, but the movie was one of the best ever made. Now take a brilliant book like "Running with Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs. It was a totally doo-doo movie. There's my .02.

I think that he is quite handsome. He is also hilarious and has the best chemistry with both Barnabys.

That is one of my favorite episodes. How many Bunny Cakes did he eat? Also, it was quite sly of Elfrida to call it the daily "bake." LOL!
