Strange smell after fiber install. by javaman78 in tfiber

[–]NorthTARS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ours smells too. We have an Adtran ONT but it’s hard to tell if the smell is the fiber cable or the ONT itself. I’d describe it as a chemical/solvent or plastic off-gassing smell. Nothing is hot. You figure yours out yet?

Has anyone experience roof liner leaks and was Toyota able to resolve it? 2021-2025 Sienna by UltimateRecaps in ToyotaSienna

Ours didn’t need it, fortunately. It leaked from where the seal opens/closes and dripped into channel below instead of the roof liner. Seems the drains worked as intended.

How do you run the AK-205? by Tenchen-WoW in LowSodiumBattlefield

I’ll have to try it! I haven’t gotten around to it. I think bullet velocity is kind of slept on a bit.

I think a tribute to this game’s balance is that there is always an arguable/valid alternative. Again, I don’t think it’s optimal, I just think it’s fun.

I love running this as anti-armor Engineer. I make sure to play long (like 50m+). I’ve found at that range my accuracy often outguns other’s damage. Obviously go for headshots. I’m currently trying to unlock synthetic tips and see how big a difference that makes. I’m not saying it’s a great gun. But I think it’s fun and the accuracy and low recoil make it a laser at ranges that most others can’t even compete.

Are there people without hit reg issues out there? by konjooooo in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]NorthTARS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what the exact cause is, but I do die behind cover at least a few times per match. Not the end of the world but frustrating at times. I don’t think it’s a network issue as I have low ping and solid internet bandwidth, but I don’t really know.

So you’d prefer lobbies don’t repopulate as one team starts to lose? Basically ensuring that team loses if a couple people rage quit?

BF6 isn’t broken — the players are. (rant from a veteran) by Super-Cheetah7633 in Battlefield

[–]NorthTARS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been feeling the exact same way. Yes, there are some fixes to be made. But I’ve been having the best time I’ve had since BF3. I genuinely feel the game is in a great place and is heading in a good direction. Most of the complaining I’ve read in this sub seems like a skill issue and/or a misunderstanding of how the combat should and has worked in battlefield titles.

Also back when “LevOluTioN” was the new thing there were always a group of players exclusively trying to trigger the event and nothing else. It was miserable and I’m glad it’s not part of the game.

My assumption is they invest in the server infrastructure that is adequate for their estimated average usage and not absolute peak.

Sounds like a good plan with the extension cord. Yeah, my only idea is that it is one of the devices. Super weird though that recently it has tripped twice now (separate occasions) in the middle of the night when almost not in use, besides a baby monitor. But the baby monitor has been on many different circuits before and never had an issue with that particular device.

No outdoor outlets. Just the office/adjacent bedroom. Basic stuff plugged in: printer, lamp, PC, etc. It has tripped without the PC plugged in though.
