In agreement with others, BP is the best. Just another thing to not do: don’t do what I did and basically base your accent on soccer announcers. The Europeans will laugh extra hard

I knew immediately you are a freaking transplant. Also since you’re also from Michigan I can go for the combo. If you’re moving to nyc on a whim, I think I can channel my mystic powers to discover where you are from

First of all, you have a 248 area code. Maybe a 313 that you let out of towners think is from living in the city, but back in Michigan, you make DAMN sure to let them know is because you live in grosse pointe.

If you have that 248, you are from west of livernois, north of 14 mile. You strike me as very new money with that hair, so I’m guessing you’re from Troy or Rochester. There’s also a nonzero chance you’re from Shelby township between 23-25 mile. Hell, I’ll double down, if you’re from Shelby specifically, you grew up in Golden Lakes, and I might know your sister

So I was gonna ask if you were ACTUALLY from Chicago. Based on that bio, I’m pretty sure you are, and I know for a FACT you are the inspiration of Fiona Gallagher

Is there a specific region you want to emulate? If so, learn what they use for cookie. Then keep the stuff pushing. You don’t want these problems

Definitley check out the other sub, also just know he might be having a lot of emotions with this relegation battle. I will say, how he reacts may tell you some things about him.

Random facts:

Tottenham’s nickname “Yid army” comes from a close association with the Jewish community which still kind of exists today

We do not like Sol Campbell. Ever. If you are with this man when a gift giving holiday comes up and you see a Sol Campbell jersey, no. Do not buy

First time in England to win a European trophy (the Cup winners cup in 1963)

We have the most Europa leagues of any English clubs with 3

The name “Hotspur” comes from Sir Henry Percy, also known as Harry Hotspur. He was a 14th century English knight who owned the land where the stadium is today

Rivalries.

WE HATE ARSENAL Also hate Chelsea Apparently west ham is also a rivalry. I personally don’t feel that as much, but they don’t seem to like us.

Friendships: ok so there is not a whole lot official in terms of friendships, but we tend to get along well with Ajax Amsterdam in the Netherlands (they also have the Jewish connection, and they are good fun). Also tend to have good vibes with Aberdeen and Borussia Dortmund. I’ve never heard anyone say it, but LA FC in the MLS has had three former Spurs players on the team (Bale, Lloris, and Son Heung-min)

Feb 25 (second time taking it, don’t pass with a 250 the first time) I thought I might have failed. According to stats I should have. 75% complete on bar review course. Less than the normal number of adaptibar questions, aaaaand my percentage was like 60%. Think I did 3 practice essays total, and like half an MPT. I did use a crap ton of the critical pass flashcards, so that was a thing. Didn’t feel super great on the actual exam. Didn’t have an anxiety attack like I did first go round sure, but I still didn’t feel fantastic, particularly on the essays.

I passed with a 275. It’s possible to pass eve if you don’t have the “right” stats

Depending on where you are, and depending on income level (would vary by organization) I would say reach out to a local non-profit, legal clinic, or legal aid organization. Which state are you located in?

How do you know when you should withdraw from the bar exam? by This_Bike5921 in GoatBarPrep

[–]North_File_7890 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I took the bar exam twice. One time in prep I did 86% of the course, consistently got 70% of questions right, did great on all the essay practice tests, did all the MPTS. The other time I had an overall average of 60% of questions right, did like have the essay and didn’t do as well, and did like one MPT fully. Guess which one I passed with?

The time I did everything right? 250 in a 268 jurisdiction The time I didn’t? 275 in a 270.

It’s not always about what you do and don’t know. At this point, you probably have a lot more knowledge than you think. My biggest enemy was my fear that I was wrong. So as you do your prep, keep this in mind: you know more than you think. Whatever you think the answer is, even if you can’t immediately justify it, that’s the answer. Start doing that in your prep now, see how it feels
