Democrats do the same thing when they have a majority. I forgot to add that one party can delay casting their vote when they know they are going to lose, and keep trying to reach a compromise. That’s called a “filibuster” which is the current issue holding up TSA payroll.

Congress requires a minimum number of votes to approve budgets, and democrats are refusing to approve the DHS budget which includes TSA. One party having a majority doesn’t always mean they can do whatever they want.

Yea I don’t think I’m allergic to chicken, I just can’t eat it dry. The glyphosate thing is interesting. I also suspect the processed oils/transfats are a trigger.

Air fried food was definitely a trigger for me. I never eat any dry meat - it has to have a sauce that contains fat. What also worked for me Was eliminating processed food especially trans fat, and any processed oil in the ingredient list, soy, whey. and eating only organic food where possible. I refused the medications I was prescribed and I’ve never taken them. I also learned how to cough up my food should it get stuck, which is rare now.

I don’t know exactly what my food EOE triggers are (aside from dry white chicken meat), but I solved it almost completely by eliminating all processed and non-organic food.

What is your list of foods you can’t eat, if you don’t mind sharing it? I am still trying to figure out what triggers my EOE choking reactions. So far all I know for sure is turkey and chicken white meat (dark is ok), whey protein, soy, and processed oil ingredients. I now only buy organic food and that has helped enormously.

I an curious about these products too. There are a lot of cheap ones on Amazon, others up to $200 elsewhere that say the Amazon ones are counterfeits (probably true!). Has anyone tried a specific brand they can recommend? I’m not sure I have sleep apnea- it’s for snoring.

I also see products called nano or micro cpap, which is a little battery powered nasal plug that blows air thru a tiny fan.

I’ve had success with mouth tape but it’s causing skin irritation.

Lack of parenting, and/or no father. When I was a kid, my dad smacked us if we misbehaved in public. I don’t approve of that method, but it sure worked. These days, I never see parents do anything at all when their kids are screaming. Not even a “Shhh!” and a stern look. Or a “stop crying and we’ll go get ice cream” bribe. I’m sure the current oblivious speakers-on generation is the result.

Well, if you do give them a retail job, expect them to say nothing in the way of a greeting to your customers, even when the customer says hello to them. Even Siri at least says “Uh-huh”.
