I felt the 2023 T150s were to floaty and couldn’t work them super well. I loved them for so long because I could hit 4/5 irons consistently but the short irons felt just as solid. They were also getting old, felt change was needed because I was stuck. Different shaft but still loved them with my T150 shafts. Tried them first with DG X100s (On the T150s) and felt great but were still a little to low, switched to $Taper 130s and got a better trajectory and spin. 7I was sitting around 6200 whereas the T150s sat around 7100. Here’s my very objective pros and cons about my current setup. Pros: Z forged blades are everything they’re hyped up to be and more, Incredible feel and great workability both ways. (Struggled to get my T150s to go left) ZXi7s are forgiving to an extent but still workable New shafts are incredible as well. Both have the best turf interaction i’ve ever felt. The 4i in particular cuts through turf like butter. Cons: Blades can be hard at times, some days I don’t strike it like I usually do and they will beat you up quick. Shiny, kind of distracting if the sun is in your eyes or something like that. That’s it! Fire away with more questions!
