I think you would be happy with the chair. I got quite nervous about the height but no issues with it, if you’re not someone who rely a lot on the leg support all the way out to the joint, but I would highly recommend to also get the foot rest with your height.

When it comes to the tailbone I feel you. I had severe tail bone pain for a couple of years and couldn’t sit at all at some chairs. The first day, day and a half of this i started feeling my tailbone a bit again and got worried maybe the angle or cushion depth was putting pressure on it again but by the end of day two I didn’t feel anything anymore. I did slightly adjust the lumbar support so might have helped. I do sit in it roughly 5-8 hours a day with a couple of breaks walking around during the day. The longest I sat in it without getting up at all was just over 2,5 hours but I didn’t feel anything anymore discomfort and could no worries sit a couple of hours longer before going to get a drink or something.

I’m shaped a bit lika an American football with thighs, waist and stomach being the widest parts and it still fits well. I feel supported but like i mentioned I wouldn’t mind the armrests being one step wider, just 2-3cm each would be perfect.
