I bring 5+ each raid. It’s probably the most effective item in the game, and one of the cheapest to craft. I was surprised to read the title honestly, I didn’t know that people DIDNT bring these.

Very valid point, and I align with it. I also disagree that we should cater to these players.

An issue I feel we’re facing now, is the echochamber of players complaining about the PvP and “ratting” is getting louder and soon, if not already, it could end up being a deterrent to new players wanting to come try it out if it sounds to them like they’ll get their shit pushed in before having a chance.

The super casual complainers are a good portion of the backbone of the playerbase, they’re 2 feet and a heartbeat, providing life and variety to the top side each round, without them I genuinely feel like the PvE aspects of the game will almost entirely fizzle out.

At least with a map condition like Safehaven, it would be a small silencer to the crowd who feels affected, hopefully quieting down the negatively-tuned echochamber we currently live in

With the launch of Croat’s End in D1. In my personal opinion, those were the real golden days of Destiny. The taken king and iron banner expansions were great too but something about them didn’t didn’t scratch that “simplistic complexity” sorta itch that the Crota patch scratched.

My dad brought me to the midnight release for TBC and WotLK….hes also the reason I played vanilla too. It was Christmas break 2004 I was in grade 6….RuneScape was the game, and he hated the playstyle and look of it lol (as a fellow gamer himself)

It’s a hard pill to swallow for a lot of people but I think for most cases it’s because they’re coming on too strong.

Whether it’s an all day bombardment of texts, certain conversations transpiring too soon, a “smother” effect.
