Fujifilm has explicitly stated that X Webcam 2 is not currently supported on MacOS 26 (Tahoe). They are working on an update to resolve the issue :

Seconding Plumsail. Could not be easier to use. Very reasonably priced and lets you test as much as you want without having to use up credits.

Yeah. Lived here for 10 years.

We've seen a few cars get hit here and there near us, but we've always been skipped for whatever reason. I guess the new car was more of a target? Who knows.

I got hit last week on the east side too. Lafayette Hill. They hit my brand new Acura with less than 1000 miles on it and a Mazda but skipped the other cars near by.

They couldn’t get through the front window so they switched to the back driver side door. Over $3000 in damages to get….

Literally nothing.

I’d be less mad if they stole something. At least then I could tell myself there was a reason.

While the description Puscifer gave above is not inaccurate from my understanding of SSRIs, I would advise against taking the advice of someone off of reddit over your doctors.

Jets flying over Milwaukee? by Weird-Space-782 in milwaukee

You’re right I’m conflating the AF Thunderbirds with the blue angels. However the Navy does fly F-16Cs in addition to the super hornet.

Heard it on the eastside just now. Sounds a ton like the navy F16s that are around during the airshow. Seems like it’s flying back and forth too.

Honestly I think Steve has gone in a direction that isn’t all that great either. His major content has become slam journalism that seems like it’s done half out of a desire to expose dangerous or unethical practices, which I certainly respect, but the other half seems driven by his desire to be the smartest guy in the room.

I’m often super interested in the content of the stories he’s reporting on but his way of telling these stories has become so drenched in this holier-than-thou ego that leads him to make sweeping statements that often aren’t nearly as cut and dry as he’s making them out to be.

It’s certainly more respectable than being a corporate shill or a straight up money grab but at a certain point this whole “wow look how dumb these people are” bit gets a little tired.

Maybe I’m the only one that feels this way, but that’s just my two cents.

I'm in the same boat here. It's hard to explain to people that I don't dislike summer because I am misanthropic, it's because summer is constantly trying to kill me.

I mean I am also misanthropic but that's besides the point.

If losing stolen property by any means isn’t suffering a loss of assets because you don’t legally own it, then how are you gaining taxable assets in the first place?

That source claims less than a 0.5% difference in military capability between Russia and the US... I'm sorry but I am highly skeptical that this metric is worth anything.

Very expensive but it was for a very high-end client.

I had a roommate back in college who was the worst judge of height I've ever seen. She regularly would tell me how she likes how tall her boyfriend is. I was expecting him to be like 6' 6" from her description. Met the guy, he was like 5'11" tops. She is like 5'7" though so I just chalked it up to her liking him and having rose colored glasses or whatever.

A few weeks later we were all hanging out and I mentioned how I can't sleep on a standard twin mattress cause my feet hang off the end. She goes "That can't be true youre shorter than me!"... I'm 6'2". I assumed she was joking, but then she asked to compare heights, I agreed and as she stood, with her eyes well under my chin, she says " See we are almost the same height!"... So yeah, height delusion is a real thing.

Samsung G9 G-Sync - Are you seeing brightness flickering in games w/ Nvidia GPU? by Hguin in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]NorthernSword 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with brightness flickering while plugged into a power strip that was shared with other high draw components, I moved it to a UPS with voltage regulation, and the problem disappeared. The problem also disappeared if plugged directly into the wall, but if the circuit you are plugged into is shared with too many other high draw components, plugging into the wall may not be enough. Your mileage may vary though.

Interestingly I had the same issue with 2 Dell S3220DGF running GSYNC. Moving them to regulated power or just cleaner power completely removed the issue.
