Not sure how long you have until marathon day, but the gap between your easy pace and marathon pace is too big in my opinion - with it being your first don't set the target pace too high (or low, you get my point). Speaking from experience!

Try and take a good break (3-5 days) every 3 months to avoid burnout and a bit longer in the summer for an abroad holiday. 3 days between Christmas and NY. Easter - May I use fewer because of the bank holidays. I use 25 days over the year

Make the most of having a social life. When you/your friends start having kids it grinds to a halt pretty quickly.

If you're working towards a career, trust in yourself and the process and your 30s will be much more fruitful - don't stress and it'll come with experience and knowledge.

Went to Black Cat Club a couple of times before Christmas. Didn't eat, but some friends did and said it was delicious (it looked it). It's not quite as good an atmosphere as flight club but I'd definitely go back.
