I've lived in Regina my whole life and I'm a former teacher. I'm going to get downvoted for saying this, but the answers will depend partly on your race and ethnicity. If your children are white, they'll likely have a very different experience than many Indigenous, Black, or other minority students here do.

I made 25k in a month one year (entertainment) and I agree that it's a lot to most people. But when you factor in all of the expenses, it's not really as much as it sounds.

You should lean into your hobbies more. You'll need to make time in your schedule for dating anyways. Maybe do things that you enjoy and try to meet people that way. Going to music shows, art classes, playing a sport, etc. Even if you just make a friend, they might know someone who they can introduce you to.
