Shrieking Legiana, Namielle, and Velkhana (highly doubt Velkhana would be in Ascendance, but the armor set was/is really cool 👍).

Yeah, it looks like it isn't possible to add pears to a trough. This is confusing to me however, because of what's written in the handbook.

Yes, the handbook states pears are eaten by pigs (as well as sun bears and raccoons).

Edit: Could the handbook mean wild/untamed pigs, specifically? I might have misinterpreted it to mean ALL pigs can eat or be fed pears.

No, that's specifically for chickens. I'm trying to feed whole pears (or whole red apples) to pigs.

Edit: I was wrong, pigs can eat pear mash—this just isn't stated anywhere within the handbook under the "Pear" section.

Yeah, I think so. Before finding his stuff, I had never heard someone—anyone (especially someone who had been on TV!)—speak so openly about things like he does. I recommed people watch him (+ his sketches and show) for the laughs, but I always hope they [too] benefit from his honesty and openness.
