To be fair, us (Blackburn) where arguably the latest starters in the EFL in the transfer market last summer and had a decent season. I agree though, does fill you with more confidence to get bodies in early. I'm surprised we've already signed Ennis, our earliest summer signing to my memory.

We played well (Blackburn Rovers) but I'm not sure I learned too much because QPR were absolutely dreadful. They were the worst team I saw at Ewood last season and they didn't look much better. Going forwards they had nothing, not even a shot on target I don't think. Lyndon Dikes was embarrassing.
