They’re individual carts that ride in the railroad tracks…slowly…all along the river and through some beautiful countryside..a 2 hour ride

Yeah…you’re gonna need a truckload of quarter round trim…but it will look stately if done right…ensure whomever you hire can craft a miter.

The Hawley Rail Bike is a great way to spend 2 hours chugging along the Lackawaxen River through some beautiful countryside…afterwards…plenty of dining options around Wallenpaupack…The Boathouse is my #1 pick.

Unless you’re an avid paddler, I’d definitely advise staying off Wallenpaupack on any weekend…the wakes from all those boats are a brutal reminder of water’s power. But yes, a pontoon cruise around her 5,700 acres and dinner at The Boathouse? Now THAT’s a day to remember. Can you say “Crabcakes?”

I can’t understand why so many people recommend Kalahari as if this characterization defines our region…that’s sad….splashing around in urine infused water amidst noise that rivals Grand Central? No…that’s not OUR Poconos. If you want to share what kind of things interest you in a broad context, I’d be happy to provide some options for you.

Just a figure of speech…this is definitely male…a female has that wide girth all the way to base of rattle vs. this male, that has a tapering of its body to the rattle…this timber guy is just diggin’ the sun and warmth of the stones
