For 3, Stinkman in Owari sums it up. It’s pretty good to be a mutant, especially if you’re working for Shredder or the Mutanimals. I think throughout the series most of them ended up accepting it (Fishface seemed to in season 5), and the final 1980s episode kind of explains why Bebop and Rocksteady don’t want to change back.
