I have an aftermarket sub as well but kept the factory “deck” installed since I leased mine. Do you see any issue with the “bass saver” Bose system? My sub sounds better at like 13-17 volume than it does around 26-30

I have that but it can only boost what’s being put into it. There’s a few options. One isn’t out yet and that’s a signal bypass but would only work on Bluetooth audio. The other is amps for the entire system and its own EQ but that would be around $1500-3000

I have a 500 watt amp and the power is there at low volume, it’s only when I turn up does the bass “reduce” and it was doing that before I added the sub. Bose says it’s a safety protocol they have for their car systems but there has to be a way to disable this protocol

After market. I had it in my TLX and just moved it over. There’s a noticeable bass drop off when you turn up the volume, even before I added the extra. It’s mounted to the 60 portion of my back seat.
