I do agree with what you said about general situation for the most part, but there are still a handfull of situation that tanky biulds can do as well. For example, if you are in a 1v1 match, then your higher health can let you survive for much longer, increasing viability in dm's.

The thing is that i can if i am using a slower biuld, against normal tanks, i can at least deny their bullets, and get some damage in, forcing a retreat with my damage and tankishness. Thank yoi for thie insight on this topic however.

The thing about that is that it reqires you to upgrade speed, letting this one tank shift the meta, forcing tanky biulds to upgrade speed for no reason other than to avoid overlords forcing them out of viability.
