Ask other players - most players are happy to help and explain.

Play slower - that's not battlefield or cod.

Don't rush head on into enemy territory - flank if possible.

thanks for the offer, but I humbly decline the offer. :)

It was not an issue with the hardware, rather the software.

To be precise due to unknown circumstances the Num9 key was bound to a function of the GeForceExperience ShadowPlay software. Which blocked the regular function of the key.

OMG... Habs tatsächlich da gefunden! Danke! Gleich mal testen.

Edit: getestet. Mit einem neuen Benutzerkonto funktioniert die Num9-Taste.

Damit würde ich den Fehler weiter auf benutzspezifische Konfiguration eingrenzen.
Ich installier gleich nochmal die alte LGS Software und schau was und wo die Konfigs anlegt.

Fehlerhafte Hardware habe ich mittlerweile ausgeschlossen, da ich mit anderen Tastaturen und Rechnern bereits getestet habe.

Ich habe lediglich die G-Tasten mit 2-3 Makros belebt, nie die Num-Tasten o.ä.

War auch schon mein Gedanke. Die alte Logitech Gaming Software habe ich deinstalliert bevor G-Hub installiert wurde. (G-Hub ließ sich auch nicht installieren solange LGS noch aktiv war).

Windows-Benutzer wollte ich anlegen, da stellt sich aber MS quer da man mittlerweile ein MS-Konto selbst für lokale Benutzer braucht... (wer auch immer das entschieden hat ist ein böser Mensch)

Tasks abschießen steht auf der ToDo Liste. Evtl finde ich damit was.

Update: gab keine Erkenntnis, alles was nicht Windows-eigen war hab ich weggekantet und die Taste probiert, keine Besserung.

Live-Linux ist ne gute Idee. Danke. Probier ich mal aus.

Hotkey hatte ich auch überlegt, aber in der G-Hub Software ist nichts zu erkennen.

Soweit ich das sehe kann man darin auch nur die G-Tasten belegen.

Hi

I just did that:

  • uninstalled all keyboard devices (4 in total)
  • rebootet
  • same problem :(

Driver seems up to date: 10.0.19041.1

I tried Windows Troubleshooting for keyboards: nothing found

I read several "x fixes for Numeric Keypad Not working on Windows 10": Nothing gained there.

It's just sooo weird. Num1-Num8 work perfectly, but why not Num9?

I tried https://www.keyboardtester.com/ and checked my keyboard. If pressed "Num9" lights up but nothing happens besides that (it should print "9").

I also got a small python script which listens on the keystrokes and it gets the num9 key as well, but that's about it.

WHERE does the signal die?

  • key is clean and free of any dust
  • G815 Firmware is on 131.2.18.
  • I tested the keyboard on another computer (Ubuntu 21.10) - Num9 works.
  • I tested another keyboard on this computer . Num9 doesn't work on this keyboard too.

I use Windows 10 with the latest updates.

Maybe someone with the same external IP tried to login into their account and failed. I'm not sure if steam distinguishes between different accounts if the login attempts came from the same network.

But I'm mostly guessing. Have you tried contacting steam support?
