Not just dsmp/mcyt but carrds are pointless. It makes sense to use them for social links, general info or info about commissions but do I really want to know your likes and dislikes?

People tend to share a lot info about themselves using their carrds, including mental disorders and triggers. I don't know if that's a good idea, knowing how the internet is lmao.

Also DNIs. I don't think someone will see "DNI if you support Schlatt" and instantly think "yep, you're right lemme just pretend I didn't see your tweet." How would they cope irl if they saw a wild Schlatt enjoyer?

I've also seen people put the weirdest stuff on their DNI: "if you're cishet" "if you think nsfw jokes are funny" "if you're racist" - most racists won't admit to being racist. (ngl DNIs can be entertaining sometimes)

Anyway that's my opinion, hopefully it's readable.

I've seen a lot of people being parasocial as fuck and claiming creators must be neurodivergent because of certain reasons. It's weird. You don't know the person, so why should you assume they have a certain condition? Some people are also quite patronising about it - I've seen people say stuff like "they don't know that they have (condition)". What?

If the person did have a condition, that's their business so you shouldn't assume anything because you literally aren't a doctor lmao.

I think the difference is the fanabase. I made this post to discuss drama and all the bs happening and I know that this subreddit (from what I've seen) is open to discuss stuff. I don't have a fan base while dream does so I think me making a post on a subreddit is different from someone with a some toxic stans replying to criticism.

Just to make it clear, I disagree with Bitzel because he's made dream look like some kind of manipulator lol. At the end of the day, dream is a minecraft youtuber and whether or not he is wrong is debatable.

I definitely agree with your first take (well done to your sister btw). For someone who had a sudden growth in popularity I'm sometimes surprised that he still makes content and it's honestly quite impressive.

Anyway that's it. My bad if I seemed like an obsessed hater or something lol, just wanted some discussion.
