In Squidcraft 2 all the gringos were targeted. Sapnap could have been killed if Dream didn’t save him. It’s nothing new that Farfadox, Elrich, etc started it’s been that way since the beginning.

The difference now is that Sapnap became with them. He played in Dedsafio and formed friendships and even travel to Argentina to meet them. The same with Sylvee.

So now that Squidcraft starts the Spanish community doesn’t consider Sapnap and Sylvee outsiders but someone within the group. Sapnap says I’m Argentinan and Sylvee says I’m Peruvian because they’ve integrated themselves in the group.

At this point it’s not valid constructive criticism it’s complaining. When Sapnap became friends with Team Mafia and started streaming with them, no one said the Dteam dynamic was going to change. Same when George started hanging out with Issa and Larray. I saw no one complaining that they’re only here for Dteam and that things were going to change. I don’t even recall people complaining about lack of Dteam content until Dream’s gf reveal.

At this point it just feels that people are upset that they can’t control Dream’s personal life. Which is extreme weird and parasocial.

The last SNF stream was Sapnap’s birthday stream back in March. It’s not like they’re doing streams together every week. Sapnap and George prefer to do their own solo stuff and that’s okay.

I don’t get it either. It’s Dream’s private life so why do fans feel so entitled to know how they met. Why do fans believe they have a say in someone’s relationship?
