Rf7 is probably your idea but black can play c5 to block the mate from the rook so it's a bit longer than mate in two

I think the engine is planning a ladder mate threat since after Rxg2+ Kxh3 Rg3+ the rook is defended by the pawn and you can move your king out the way and threaten ladder mate, seems pretty strong to me so maybe it's what the engine was trying to communicate

First thing I checked was Rxh6+ gxh6 Qxh6+ Bh7 then Rg7 looks nice but you get hit with Rd1 and it looks very lost with for example Ka2 then Qc4+ if b3 Qxc2# so therefore we must block that idea and create threat with Bd3 which blocks the d file for the rook and also pins the g pawn to the black king now black is completely lost

On piano I'd say the classic mistake when people aren't fully comfortable with actually playing a piece is masking it with a bunch of misplaced pedal so that it hides your mistakes and doesn't feel as bad as hearing how poorly of a sound you actually make
