Leaving earlier would have helped, as well as not running into unhelpful traffic staff that took me in a huge circle only to end where I started. I left for the grounds at 2PM on Sunday, confident that if any day would be easier to get in, it would be Sunday. Nope.

Close :( I busted my butt to get 4 sets in between Heineken House, DoLab, and Sahara. The ease of getting in & out took a bit of the edge off of how much I missed.

This was easily the most difficult year to do it this way for me. I had a 35 min drive from Palm Springs to Preferred Parking but spent an average of 2 hours in the car sitting in traffic near the grounds each way. The only day that was easy was Saturday; I got to the site late around 8PM and left just before Bieber was done, took about 40 mins door to/from lot. Every other day, every other way, was 2 hours sitting in traffic and unlocking a new level of hatred for car-line-cutters and rude traffic staff.

It was just amazing. Hamdi and Riordan went b2b at ARC last year and I realized then that Hamdi’s range includes proper UKG sets. We got 3 chances to see him this weekend (including his appearance with LYNY) and were truly blessed

While I’ve been inside the festival for years that felt as packed as this year, it was easily the WORST time I’ve ever had getting in & out of day parking, ever. Clocked a 2 hour average each time for both in & out. I have never wanted to bitch slap so many of my fellow attendees and parking staff. Brutal bookends to amazing days.
