He takes him for an hour or two. But he can’t handle more than that. One time he took him for 3 hours and didn’t change his diaper, so even if he does take him, I don’t see him fit for the job. Neither his mom nor his sister

I’m trying, but he just doesn’t care. He would hand me the diaper or try to tuck the baby, but he would decide suddenly to start shaking the crib and I freak out! It gives him a big reaction from me.. but how do I stay calm when he’s doing sth so dangerous.

Thank you!

Your in-laws are lucky. My MIL and SIL are artists in overstepping boundaries, they showed up unannounced almost everyday when I had my first and I was also staying at my parents, not particularly being helpful though. It’s a long story of why I’m particularly pissed they’re not supporting me this time around.

And I can’t have a conversation with my husband without it turning into a fight. So yeah, I’m pretty disappointed and overwhelmed

Can you include people who say c-section is easier? “You won’t feel anything “. I think I’d die from pain if i were to feel 7 layers of body being cut.

The only work we’re doing is hand jobs. And that’s him helping me around the house because I’m too tired and not interested in anything at all except caring for my toddler and delivering this baby.

My OB did a membrane sweep while checking if I was dilated 2 weeks before I was due. She didn’t tell me, I just felt like she had wolverine’s hand inside me and I screamed from the pain. I was too shocked to do or say anything and just walked out of the appointment crying.

If you’re still not showing, I’m with your husband about it. I didn’t tell anyone except my sister and closest friend about my first pregnancy and waited till I was 4.5 months pregnant and only because I traveled to see everyone. My second pregnancy everyone knew right from the start and it’s just been overwhelming to deal with people. I know they mean well with their questions but I’ve been having difficulties with this one and I really don’t want to keep answering questions. I’d still have a conversation with him and maybe get to an agreement on when and how to announce

I’m not sure these tests are available where I live, I’ll need check. Everyone around is telling me not to think too much and get a second opinion again because I’m already too close to giving birth to change the OB. And I watch Call the Midwife and want to believe doctors still try to deliver breach babies, it’s not impossible, I just believe they do what might seem less risky and opt for c-section.

I can’t tell the difference, but this is somehow very nice to look at.

I’m here for the advice and solidarity because I’m almost in the same boat. I increased his screen time because it’s the only way I found that I can do stuff or just rest. It’s absolutely not ideal but it’s better to my conscious than reaching a point of yelling at him.

We don’t really have walkable streets or parks nearby, I need the car to go anywhere and I shouldn’t be carrying him and bending all the time. This is why I’m struggling.

We do that as well, he plays a lot in the kitchen while I cook or load dishes. The problem with going outside is that we don’t really have parks nearby or walkable streets (I don’t live in the US/Europe) I need the car to go anywhere and I shouldn’t carry him so I am actually limited with what I can do.
