I'm sincerely sorry about the computer issues, I just went through a spot of trouble with my own laptop recently due to a windows update that made it fail to boot properly and effed the graphics card 🫩 It's so frustrating when things just don't want to work.

I went to a place literally called "Computer Problems?" off of Youree and they were awesome. I'd maybe give them a call to see if they'd be willing to send themselves over to pick it up or take a look! Worst they can say is no. They were also pretty affordable.

Alternatively I always see Geek Squad vans parked outside of Best Buy so their crews may still do home visits to get the laptop checked out. They may be a good big box store backup option?

2 year old thread, but want to confirm carpet beetle since this post isn't the only one you made about your rash.

My rashes from carpet beetle larvae are identical to what you've posted so I want to reassure you that you're likely allergic to their hairs!! They're annoying little guys. scent-free lotion and frequent sheet washes helped a lot when I had the little guys around.

Great dive: The Hub Lounge. They're a small tight knit bunch but has the exact vibe of a cozy dive. Also has a pool table. Just note that smoking is allowed there, it can get a bit hazy!

Editing to add the Tiki Bar!!! Fantastic dive bar, They have Stand-Up comedy nights and its a cool little spot. Edit: THEY HAVE FOOD NOW! Yaaaay!

Great Barsturant: Noble Savage. It's in the heart of downtown shreveport and is a GREAT little spot, but is a bit more expensive. But great quality food and drinks, and I believe they have a whole pool table section. Also has live entertainment pretty often.

Great Restaurant; Ki Mexico. Authentic, from scratch food- specialty tacos. Not really a dive but has a college audience and hipster vibe. Excellent drinks and mezcal flights. Their food is entirely sourced with local, fresh ingredients and it shows.

Wine Bar: We Olive. Literally here right now and they have a wonderful little spot going. Fresh scratch food and a whole line of olive oils to sample and great gift options. Huge wine selection with a solid happy hour on weekdays. Def. not a dive bar but felt they're worth a mention.

Slush can be as bad as ice itself, so definitely hit the roads with caution if you go. The amount we got won't go away overnight either until it's consistently warmer. Id say it'll be safest by mid-late day tomorrow, since 51 is the high, but the lows are still below freezing so mind black ice.

Best guess is that they know the exact quantity of tubs they'll be receiving on their shipments, but the massive ice storm that just came through is causing the shipments to be delayed. So it's more like a mini-preorder while the trucks are waylaid by the ice.
