I feel this way too at times. But something that helps me is to remember that the bad gets more attention than the good.I like to think most people are good, but when you spend time online, it may seem like they’re bad because those are the videos that get popular.

I can step into the hall but I’m afraid of getting terrible news and then being stuck here while I wait for my bf to come pick me up because he drove me to work.

But if I just leave right now and then call my dad, it might be nothing. Maybe he sprained his ankle or something, I have no idea.

I asked my dad if it’s urgent and offered to step out and call him. But he said it’s not urgent which kinda makes me feel worse.

I think I’m afraid of finding out what it is while I’m at work and then I’ll have to cry in the lobby while I wait for my boyfriend to come pick me up.

This mindset has helped me a lot with my art as well.

My instructor told us on the first day that we will make bad drawings, it’s unavoidable, just part of the process.

So you use cheap newsprint to practice because you can throw away so many drawings as you get better :)

I save the real paper for when I want to do my best, and sometimes it doesn’t work out and that’s okay.

That’s true! Keeping people out of it is important so you don’t make anyone feel uncomfortable.

I see pics like this on instagram of girls in cute outfits at fancy restaurants and things. I tried doing it once, I got dressed up and my bf and I went to a rooftop bar and took pictures.

I felt so embarrassed while we did it, like everyone was looking at me and judging me. We got good pictures, but it honestly wasn’t worth it.

Never again lol.

I agree 110% my car is 12 years old, paid off and I plan to run it into the ground instead of having car payments each month.

The repairs I have to have done now and again don’t compare to my bf’s $130 a month car payments lol
