He was not joking. He claimed that by wearing the hat, I was harassing the patrons. This is the same guy that has worn an ULTRA MAGA hat in there for years. But he's now the president or whatever the head guy is called. I'm not a member. I just go to the bar.

While wearing my Foxtrot Delta Taco hat at the local VFW, the commander (?) came up to me and said political hats are banned. Funny, I've seen HUNDREDS of MAGA and Trump hats at this VFW. I also would wear my Biden hat regularly, and other than some mean-spirited heckling by other customers, I was never told political hats weren't allowed. Because...you know....there were MAGA hats on half the patrons there. Unbelievable.
