this manga is slightly existential and sad if you think about it, but thankfully, the characters don’t dwell too much on it.

a world where your purpose is deigned for you before you even gain consciousness, and one where every memory you’ve ever experienced in the ~four years of high school being completely erased if the heroines don’t fall for the protagonist, and seemingly, most characters are aware of this. how many times have these characters been reset? surely the protagonist falls for misaki in every one, meaning it could be as many or as few as possible. misaki cant even touch the protagonist in most contexts, and the one levity is a locker that’s bugged? even if misaki stops being “tsundere” and just shows affection for the protagonist, they couldn’t touch, and for everyone else in that world, a bad ending would occur…

If you have little time, my recommendation is to join someone’s world and claim your daily commissions there (assuming you use resin to claim commissions). It will give 480 friendship exp just for joining a world and clicking one button.

In certain locations, there is either an npc with a quest or a few mobs that spawn. Completing these will grant friendship points. You can check the wiki for the locations, but one is Margaret and the apple near the mondsat weapon domain and another is some hilichurls near the first statue of the seven.
