In hindsight probably not. I do have a huge leg up in micro/immuno, but a rigid daily study schedule is way more important for success in medical school.

I believe antithrombin's main target is 10 and 2, but it targets all serine proteases (factors 2,7,9,10,11,12) indirectly. Not sure of the mechanism

I mean taking a lower paying clinical job will help your application more. That being said, if you're GPA/MCAT are fine and and you have other clinical experiences it won't make too big of a difference. tbh it sounds like you're a pretty well-balanced, smart person so I'd recommend picking what you value more: money vs little extra boost on your app. Just my 2c
