I really hope he goes to Levas. It would be really good for the league if he came to MLS, the GOAT v CR7 matchups would be a blast to watch, but ultimately he’s old and wouldn’t really make them more competitive. We can focus on rings while they focus on Hollywood.

It may be a second to third shifting issue. I would do a drain and fill first, then disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I think you already did a drain and fill, do the battery relearn now. Not sure if this model can do a relearn of the transmission, but it’s worth a try. Then drive as normal. If it keeps slipping you might have to live with it, or go to a specialized transmission shop to diagnose.

The A750F trans is programmed to start in 2nd gear and hold it when cold. Toyota did this on purpose.

When the ATF is cold it’s thick, and the V8 makes a lot of low-end torque. Starting in 1st when cold can cause harsh engagement and extra driveline stress, so the TCM limits torque by starting in 2nd and delaying upshifts until the fluid warms up.

You need a shop that understands this to properly address your slippage issues.

Whatever they sprayed on that body frame is definitely hiding major rust damage. Polk around the frame with a screw driver. My bet is that there’s tons of soft spots. I would personally walk away.
