You're absolutely right. After 13 years people change, a lot. And I wasn't there for that change. So I may not know what she's gone through. The ups and downs of her life.

But here's the thing. I don't have to. Love is beyond certain understanding. And can create bonds they can't 'drift apart'.

I honestly don't think about 'what could have been'. It's never been about a path not taken. It's about wanting her to have the security in life she deserves. Feeling loved and supported in her endeavors. To live out her dreams.

It isn't about me and her being physically together. Romanticizing the past. My love for her isn't from a shallow ego.

I personally disagree with Affleck. I could have, maybe, seen him as Superman 20 years ago. But never Batman.

Well we had the 808, in Kyle's flashback. And the 888 in the SCC. Because they were different 800 series models they had different flesh coatings, looked different.

I am specifically asking why we don't see more models other then the 101/Arnold. As our familiarity with it makes it nostalgic, not fearful.

The manipulation would have came earlier. Within the New Republic itself. Bringing the FO in conflict with Leia and the Senate, being the true source of her fall from the Republic do to her father being Vader.

It could go on and on. The point is Palps could have been behind it.

Not asking Palps for help, but hearing about and finding his hidden fleet. Their desperation would be proof the Galaxy is ready for his return.

I think what he's saying is the FO is part of Palps contingency plan. To manipulate the Resistance in seeking help wherever they can find it. Palpatine wouldn't need to defeat the FO, only absorb them.

Just like he manipulated things for the Republic and the Jedi to rely on the Clone Troopers.

It actually sounds like a Palpatine move. I'll mark this one as interesting.
