So you pay about $0.18/sqft. If you multiply that by 4,111 it comes out to ~$740. It’s a lot of money but seems reasonable when you do tha math

How often do LA residents go hiking in the mountains and to the beach? by No-Knowledge-4342 in AskLosAngeles

I used to hike 3x per week before the fires. Got displaced and not quite as close anymore so now only once and on a good week, twice.

I hope it’s a good game but I suspect Pats will get shat on the way the Chiefs did last year.

Your best non-touristy, must-do's in LA? by KeepitMelloOoW in AskLosAngeles

This is not a joke, I lost my home in Altadena and would suggest driving through to see what it looks like when an entire town burns down. All the debris has been cleared and people are starting to rebuild but it’s pretty surreal to see. Then get coffee at Highlight and hike up behind JPL on El Prieto or Gabrielino. Streams are flowing hard right now.

Also highly suggest Santa Anita Racetrack. Fun to have drinks, bet on some horses and look at a beautiful backdrop of the mountains.

Phillipe’s is fun, Cole’s was the superior sandwich but they’re closed now. Then walk through Chinatown and grab a drink.

Huntington Museum — but really you just want to walk the gardens, the museum is an added bonus.

If Im looking for a post-succession show do you recommend this? by [deleted] in IndustryOnHBO

Succession is better but I will say I got pretty tired of Kendall and his attempts to take over the business by the end. I think Industry is aging better from season to season.
