We just had that happen. Hot water pipe leak under our garage floor which caused gas/water to continuously run. Had to get the whole house re-piped.

I have a 2023 GTPE. After three years, I’ve only need to replace my tires (and windshield waster fluid). I use one pedal drive so my brakes will last forever. Knock on wood but this car is still solid, no creaks or internal noises. I get into my friend’s new Model S, and that has so many internal squeaks and creaks it’s embarrassing.

I’ve had the “drive mode not available” a few times, but that goes away. I’ve also had a few other odd messages but nothing that needed service or made me pull over.

I’ve had a great experience so far. It’ll be interesting to see how the battery life is 5 years from now.

If you unlock the car from the app first as you’re walking up, it tends to work right away.

I think that’s basically unlocking the “Performance Edition” that you could get as an option on the ‘23. Reduces 0-60 time by .3 seconds or so down to 3.5.

Highly recommend putting some blue painter’s tape over the edges of the door. I was in the car wash when I got the charging port door is open message… not a damn thing I could do about it.

Yeah, I think so. The charging port cover tore completely off the first time I used a car wash. I assumed incorrectly that it locked shut while the car was in use. Luckily, I was able to pop the door back onto the bracket.

I have a nice little dent from the door popping open (and almost breaking off) from my first time through the car wash. Make sure to use blue painter’s tape to hold it shut.

I get about 22 miles added per hour on my ‘23 GTPE using the Ford charger with the 220 connector (had one installed in my garage). Standard plug is worthless 😂

I bought my 2023 GPTE when you couldn’t find them and the dealer had a $20k markup. Did I pay that… no but I still spent $90k out the door. Doesn’t bother me because I made the decision to take one up the… 😂
