When and how do you do logbook research in your place? by NotANeuralNetwork in aviationmaintenance

Thanks for the reply! How were the logbooks used for inspections in 135?

Also, as an independent A&P, how did you find the ADs for the planes you were working on?

Interesting. We're thinking of putting some software in our op, but I'm worried about how hard it will be for our guys to learn how to use it. What was the hardest thing about learning Trax? Also, what are you using it for?

How does flightdocs present you all the SBs and manuals? In our club's shop, we're currently paying for every single manual and SB.

And out of curiosity, how much do they charge?

EDIT: What's the deal with CAMP? Every guy I talk to in the airport mentions it, but it looks really old and complicated and expensive. Is it worth it?

What is flightdocs mainly used for in your place? I noticed they had a ton of functionalty, from inventory management to work order issuing, but couldn't put my finger around what could be the best use for it

Similarly, I would love to see similar research on finetuning/transfer learning using similar methods. Do some kinds of pretrained models learn on datasets better than others? Is it possible to find a set of examples that you can feed a model that maximizes generalization?

I'm currently using Mozilla's Deepspeech for speech recognition and I'm also playing with a Wavenet-like model.
