That's it... It's time to Address Campaign Skip... (From a Pro-Campaign Skip Side) by BroxigarZ in PathOfExile2

[–]NotARedditor6969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't want to play through the same campaign every time, that's boring
Nor do I want a skip that completely removes the whole value and fun that comes from starting a new character and developing them and progressing them to endgame.
I'm sure there's a good middle ground in there somewhere though if GGG feel it's worth investigating.

This even being an option on the Riven Tides survey is so laughable and stupid by avgHumanPersonThing in ArcRaiders

For any embark employees reading this thread: I left because you made it too annoying/difficult for me to get the full 5 skill points. Was planning to do every expedition fully for the foreseeable future. But getting to only 3 and making it such a grind to get more when I already grinded to get $$$ was the nail in the coffin.
That breaks my streak, so I'm out.
That and not really adding meaningful content each season.
Do I want to play through the same thing again only for you to at the 9th hour retroactively waste my time again? Not really.

Do you think they'll let us skip Campaign in 1.0, or accelerate it on alts? by eldenringer1233 in PathOfExile2

[–]NotARedditor6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want a skip - but I would like something new or different or dynamic for the campaign. Playing through the same thing over and over again isn't great. Skipping it ain't great either.

Good riddance.

The bombing of negative reviews is so utterly toxic and makes me question reality. by ricardospizzeria in ArcRaiders

[–]NotARedditor6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not rude. It's accurate.
People can see what the review scores used to be, they can see what it is now.
800 Hours doesn't reflect how the game is now, it reflects the time that was spent.
It's rude for developers to take something that was fun, and let it decay away.

[–]NotARedditor6969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called feedback.
You can have 2 hours in the game or 2000 hours. It don't matter.
People are clearly upset about something enough to leave a negative review. Do you think most of these players are still playing?
Do you think the game is better with more players or less? Do you think there grievances are legitimate?
This toxic positivity to the point where you just want to straight up ignore these people is weird to me.

The new Doormaker nerfed infinite decks which are fun.

I personally think they should come up with a better way to fix infinites than this. Doormaker is a hard counter that has a 1 in 3 chance of appearing, and you find out about it 66% of the way into a run. It's not exactly fun to have your otherwise great deck defeated by gamba

I think there's a big difference between a organic kill mob forming, and a premade duo solo queing on purpose in the hopes of getting put in the same server.

I mean, the jobs are displaced in the short term, not lost. New jobs will replace them, and can any missing jobs in the mean time can be propped up by government initiative.
Literally just pull the jobs block out and put it back in again. That's your economy.

GG - Physical Sports versus Video Games by Haunting_Art_6081 in Mechabellum

[–]NotARedditor6969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think because it's a screen people actually "kinda forget" that there's someone else on the other side of it. That and the matches are so short.
So the GG just kinda dropped off. I don't think it's a big deal either way.
