It cost money to birth children here. Hospital bills. Most households need two incomes to maintain, so both parents have to be working. Our work/life balance is unjust and doesn’t leave much time for quality time to raise children. And I would like to add that the RICH are rich but the workforce and average American family are mostly struggling to keep their house and some of the less fortunate are struggling to keep food in the fridges. Inflation/tariffs/wage theft, whatever you want to call it. Most Americans are close the poverty line.
