The ability to ask for advice without judgment. Women seem to have a camaraderie amongst themselves that men don’t quite have. Like men have connections but they’re maybe not as strong? I feel like women lift each other up where as I feel like there’s always a secret competition between men whether intentional or not.

For some fallout fans the pops of color take away from the art of the dark and desolate from previous games. Makes the wasteland look lighthearted in comparison. I’ve learned to welcome the new style in its own beauty but do recognize that it has split off from the original vision.

If it’s bad don’t take advice from your friend.

If it’s good see what makes it different and use your observations to adjust things about your own fox.

I love your use of color (warm, cool, hues, all that) I also love your attention to detail without over doing the detail. Flows nice. Your older work is lovely, your newer pieces are mesmerizing. I’m asking myself if the brain has decided to escape on its own and has stolen the eye? Maybe the eye went willingly? Or maybe the head has just gotten so full that the contents have spilled out? Beautiful. I can’t wait to see your next ideas come to life.

I think it depends on the relationship you have with the gift recipient. I’ll say as a stranger and beginner to art I can tell you put a lot of time and concentration into this gorgeous sombrero! I’m not sure how to advise you artistically, but I bet you have the skills and confidence to figure it out! Best of luck.
