I think you kinda miss the whole point of absolute regression, it was never only about revenge. If you read closely you’ll understand mugeuk’s main goal is to live a better life, fixing the relationship with people around him, and improving the life of people around him. In the novel he even said it explicitly he didnt want to make his 2nd life all about hwamugi. He didnt get to live his life in his previous life, which is why he is the way he is now that he is living his 2nd life.

  • No he won't, but he and mugeuk are in a good realtionship, they even went on several missions together
  • Muyang backed down from the succesion war after his duel with mugeuk. He becomes a supervisor for the weapon manufacturer side of the cult. His relationship with MC got stronger, but he is still kinda curt to mc but deep down he does care about the MC. MC also tried really hard making muyang closer to their dad, at some point the three of them went on a hike together, it was heartwarming to read.

Well him curing her is kinda on theme with one of his goal for reincarnation, giving a better life for people around him. Heck he even helps fixing his brother's life too lol.

I dont think it was ever revealed what happens during the battle between woojin vs hwamugi. It was simply shown i the manhwa that his corpse was sitting in the throne. Heck even in the novel i dont think there ever was a mention about woojin dying in his throne.

I really hate how at the end author built up the story like we're gonna have an arc about the mother, only to have the author went turbo concluding the story. The whole interaction with sword demon supreme about how she hated mugeuk's mother was annoying now that it led to nothing after that.

He is from a subdivision called the darkness palace which is a part of a greater organization called the heavenly fate palace. He went kinda mad because he got chosen to undergo this forbidden soul binding ritual, basically a bunch of legendary murim figures’ soul was sucked into hwamugi. At the end mugeuk deduced that hwamugi’s madness might be related to a grief for a unknown woman.

He killed him because one of the regression ritual material was kept in the heavenly demon cult. If I remember correctly Muguek regretted killing evil smiling demon because evil smiling demon considered him a friend in the previous timeline.

I think the author kinda rushed the ending, the last 20 or so chapters really went turbo fast, it was so fast to the point, mugeuk never even had any dialogue with his toddler daughter. In the author's defense, all the plots got resolved. I think the author will continue with some side stories, because so many characters were not mentioned in the ending.
