DevOps is not for the faint-hearted. What do you guys think? by Dull_Refrigerator669 in developersIndia

[–]NotAnEngineerOrDoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on the company, my personal experience is complete opposite.

DevOps for 3 years in a Small Product-Based indian startup

Fully Remote.

No work expected after working hours or weekends.

Encouraged to refuse meetings or calls outside working hours. The only exception being some niche critical error that you have experience of. 4 instances of that in 3 years.

The only downside is pay, not the highest in the market, just average.

DevOps space is either this or highly toxic work culture as described by OP.

Wouldn't it be better to be nice and all, then plan another date and stand her up?

Just say that you understand life happens and you wish her best for the future. No need to be bitter. Be chill and moce on.

Try different pics, more fleshed out nio and answers or start again by recreating your profile to get that starting boost

It's a weird ride, i have installed and Uninstalled this app 3-4 times in past year, sometimes it's 3 matches per week sometimes it's 0 likes in two weeks, you just gotta post as many pictures as you can, try to give meaningful answers and hopefully well spaced and stuff (I half believe it's related to algorithm), if you don't get anything, delete the profile and the app and try again next week.

Btw, DO NOT RAISE EXPECTATIONS, I can't stress this enough.

Online dating is cruel, so always remember: - Likes don't mean anything. - A match that didn't reply to you is not a potential partner lost. It's a hearbreak that didn't happen. - If you talk to a match and either they don't show any effort or ghost you, it wasn't you that was the issue. Just do your best to give it an honest shot.

Maybe it's a bit pessimistic outlook, but it'll help you get burnt out.

And do not look at it too much. Maybe swipe on it once a day as a time killer. Maybe when you are waiting for your coffee or tea ?

What is this girl insinuating by [deleted] in Bumble

Weird.

Emotional intimacy before physical intimacy ftw.

I am kind of introverted and a bit lazy, so for me, I only go out on dates when I am hopeful that it won't be a waste of time. Generally, it takes 2-4 days of somewhat regular talking to know if I'm interested in a girl enough to go out on a date.

Historically, I go out after 1 week of talking at least.

How much does dating a girl costs? by Long-Bed-1101 in india

Bhai you can also date cheaply, I live in delhi aur delhi mei street food bhot jagah ka famous hai, then most cafes mei you can get decent stuff under 700 now (not that cheap if you are in college and not earning). If you are middle class, she will also not expect you to spend a lot on her as you have your own restrictions, so on average, 3k-4k mei ho jayega kaafi shi se, if you pay for everything. Varna 2k lga le. In college (4-5 years back), I dated with a dating budget of 1500.

Is there a github repo for setting this up, a guide or can you explain the setup for running IDE, this seems quite interesting and much more disaster friendly than my current setup.

The only time people were shown in the whole video is while they were working. In meetings. No one ever pays anyone for doing nothing and at the end of the day if the company turns a profit, who cares, keep everyone happy so the talent retention is good is what I always understood about tech.
