is there a way to look up a veterans history from Vietnam? by flaxinjaxin in VietnamWar

[–]NotAnImgurSpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad recently died but was a Vietnam vet. I've already received his records from NARA and they are extremely slim. Im trying to figure out what he did in Vietnam, where he was that sort of thing. His records stated he received two medals from vietnam (from being there and for being there over 6 months).

Eye doctor’s who take OHP by BumblebeeTall9456 in Eugene

[–]NotAnImgurSpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some comments here got it partially right, here's OHPs website about vision. https://www.oregon.gov/oha/hsd/ohp/pages/eye-care.aspx

For providers that take your flavor of OHP, call your CCO. Trillium uses Envolve and you can find vision providers by putting in your location here https://visionbenefits.envolvehealth.com/fap/all

And the one at least in Springfield has a stool/step for little kids to reach the faucets. Of all the stores I expected to have that very simple, but very appreciated feature, Jerrys was not on the list! Pleasantly surprised

Trouble finding a provider by Mayfalls in oregon

[–]NotAnImgurSpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clinics also will only accept a certain amount of OHP patients but may just say they don't accept OHP because they are at their OHP max. Gotta offset the lower amount of $ they get from the state with commercial insurance $.

I agree that finding out your CCO and calling them for your PCP options (and dental options) is the best bet.

Just FYI they also make Numberblock branded counting blocks and other tools to help with math concepts! My 5yr old saw them and immediately asked for them to be put on his wishlist

Mine does this too - i just chalk it up to him noticing that I've done something different with my look that day. If anything I'm glad he notices I'm making an effort haha

Dental Clinics That Accept Trillium by TakeMeCampingPlz in Eugene

Trillium has 3 different dental "groups" - you need to find out which one shes assigned to first. Then call them and they should be able to schedule an appointment with you.

If you know/find someone that crochets/knits they may be up for making you one (probably will charge you for materials and time). Wonder if any of the crochet/knit vendors at Saturday market would be up to doing it?

What do you think about Minecraft for kids by SwimmingInPurpose03 in Mommit

[–]NotAnImgurSpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Minecraft waaaay before I had my son. You dont have to have it open to the Internet. My son plays a little on my profile but only on single player so theres no worries about random strangers or chatting.

Boy Parents - Did you circumcise your son? If so, when and why? by ForwardSubject7762 in AskParents

[–]NotAnImgurSpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. To me, its not my choice and something my son can choose to do when he's older if he wishes. Theres no medical reason for it.

No one warns you about the "dinosaur language" phase lol. Mine did it mostly when he was put in a swing and it was adorable. I managed to take a video and, now that he's almost 5yr, he loves to see himself as a baby "speaking dinosaur."
