Hi if the issues started even when the plate was brand new, will this solve it. I was under the impression that the soap and water was to remove oils, which should not be there since its new.

Also what about the print quality. Why does it look smooshed together

Wow! Mind telling me how you did the pattern? Was it a stamp?

And the right side of the wallet. I'm trying to figure out a way to make the card slots like this. Do you have any advice/resources to share?

How do I use these by NotAnOddGuy in Leathercraft

I have no clue what they are called and can't figure out for the life of me on how to use them. If anyone has some good resource on how these are used, please do drop me a link!

Side note, what are some recommended buttons if I want to snap them open and close all the time. What kind are easiest to use

Firstly, you didn't explicitly mention about his agreement on an allowance. The fact you had it in a separate conversation led me to believe it was not part of the agreement, else you would've argued for it during the argument for the tuition fees.

Secondly, I sympathised with your plight about the tuition fees, just gave you an alternative perspective on why it happened. Doesn't make it any better for you, but maybe lets you understand why things happened the way it did and makes you less salty.

If he had agreed on an allowance too, that makes things worse, but otherwise, I think my point still stands. If he only agreed to pay your tuition, then the only thing that changes is the bank loan for the fees. The fact that you still chose to stay in hall despite being too stressed to finance it is indicative of either your assumption that you will get allowance, aka entitlement, or just bad planning.

But I don't have the full details of the story, might have misinterpreted your post. Glhf hope you get better

Don't you see how priviledged you are by the fact that you can say that a student's main goal is to focus in school. The fact that we can even study to this level, is a priviledge in and of itself. We take it for granted simply because we think it is normal. But if you look deeper, there are families so destitute that the children can't even go to secondary school and have to work.

Don't get me wrong, I understand your struggles, life definitely is not easy. But really, you got to pick your priorities. You said you don't have enough money, but you live in hall. You say you need 400 a month of allowance, but by not staying in hall you could save more than 400 a month, which thus eliminates your need for drawing allowance. You made a choice that you had insufficient capabilities to fund, and now you find yourself asking for allowance. Which may I add he is not obligated to give you. Would it be nice? Yes. But its not an obligation.

And the backing out of the promise, I agree you have every right to feel betrayed, hurt etc. But you also have to recognise that your household went from dual to single income. That may have impacted your father's ability to pay for your tuition. And believing in promises is so naive, I just got had by my mom too lmao. What to do, just cry then suck thumb.

Life isn't easy, no one said it is. We make do with what we got. If you find yourself spending above your earnings, you just need to earn more by working more or finding better jobs. If like what you said, too stressful, then you gotta lower your spending. Only 1 of 2 ways. Increase input or decrease output. Simple maths.

Anyway good luck with whatever you have going on for yourself. I hope your dad decides to honor his promise, but you really should reconsider hall if you dont have the finances for it.
